5. What happens when the internet is down?
6. Is there a named person we can call?
7. How is data backed up, and can we get an export any day we ask?
8. Are upgrades free, or is every improvement a new invoice?
9. Can parents pay online without a separate app?
10. How granular are the access permissions?
11. Is there an audit trail of every edit?
12. Will the vendor still exist in ten years?
Score every shortlisted vendor out of twelve. The winner is rarely the one with the longest feature list.
